A brief introduction of biomass fuel.

1, biomass refers to the flammable raw materials of green plants and wood, such as flowers and trees, wheat grass, a variety of bacteria residues, etc.

2. Biomass fuel molding fuel is a kind of biomass fuel processed from combustible herbs or woody raw materials.

3. Biomass fuel direct combustion refers to the direct combustion of combustible biomass fuel waste or biomass fuel raw materials without processing.

Two, the reasons for banning the direct combustion of wood and promoting the combustion of biomass pellet fuel:

1. Low thermal efficiency of combustion: the thermal efficiency of firewood direct combustion is very low, generally only 10%-15%, resulting in a great waste of resources.

2 Reduce the quality of the ecological environment: excessive cutting wood will destroy the land vegetation, reduce the ability of soil and water conservation, accelerate soil erosion, resulting in deterioration of the ecological environment.

3, possession of human capital: collecting firewood must have a lot of labor time and human capital, leading to the problem of possession of human capital.

4. Destruction of trees and vegetation: In order to obtain more firewood energy, deforestation and forest destruction will occur, especially precious tree species and varieties with high economic value will also be destroyed.

5. Safety risks left behind: stacking firewood around will lead to air pollution, which is very easy to cause unsafe risks such as fire accidents and diseases.

6, carbon dioxide emissions: a large number of wood burning, easy to cause air pollution, thus affecting the environment. From 1991 to 2001, our annual carbon dioxide emissions from firewood consumption accounted for about 3 to 5 percent of our annual carbon dioxide emissions. From 1996 to 2003, the carbon dioxide produced by traditional rural use in China was 24.5411 million tons. From 2001 to 2007, the annual average carbon dioxide emissions of rural firewood in Yunnan Province increased by 44.2 tons, 61.5 tons, 72.9 tons, 70.7 tons, 69.5 tons, 64.6 tons and 6.62 million tons, respectively.

Three, why can the processed biomass pellet fuel be burned after mechanical processing?

1, the carbon content is small, the carbon content of biomass fuel is only about 50%.

2, the hydrogen content is slightly higher, volatile substances increase significantly. Most of the carbon in biomass fuses with hydrogen to produce low levels of hydrocarbons. At the required temperature, the volatile chemicals dissolve the precipitate, and the biomass is very prone to fire.

3, the oxygen content of biomass fuel is much higher than that of coal, so that biomass fuel combustion is more sufficient. 4. The density of biomass fuel is significantly lower than that of coal, and its texture is loose and easy to burn. The residual carbon in ash is smaller than that in coal ash.

5, low sulfur content, biomass fuel sulfur content is less than 0.12%, the boiler does not need to install desulfurization device.

6. The carbon dioxide released by biomass fuels is very low and can be regarded as zero carbon dioxide emissions.

7. Ash from biomass fuel combustion can be used in fertilizer production.

8. Biomass fuels can be mixed with coal to improve combustion efficiency (this method is not allowed by green energy policy).

9, biomass fuel combustion can achieve the reduction of biomass fuel waste, harmless and resource utilization.

10. Biomass fuel particles are dried before entering the biomass fuel granulator, so as to avoid the embarrassment of heating and drying due to humidity. As a result, smoke vomiting does not occur and air pollution is minimal.

The International Energy Organization reported in 2012 that biomass is the world's fourth largest energy source, accounting for 78 percent of the world's renewable energy consumption. In order to achieve the goal of controlling atmospheric warming by 2℃ by 2020, biofuel production needs to be increased by more than one times, and advanced biofuel production needs to be increased by six times. In the context of promoting the green development in our country, the development and utilization of biomass energy, so to speak! So biomass particles will not only not be banned, but will be vigorously promoted and applied.
